Shows scum

My kids do not complain about the taste of this, although I was making them use listerine. I like how it dyes their teeth scum so it's incredibly visible if they brushed their teeth or are just trying to pull some moves to get out of it.

Encourages our 8yo to brush better

While I prefer our family to use a more natural, dye-free mouthwash, I wanted to try it because of the dye in hopes that our 8yo would be more inclined to do a better job of brushing. It does the trick. He comes and smiles, asking me if he did a good job brushing (i.e., no dye on his teeth); more often than not, his teeth are dye-free because he's being more careful to brush his teeth better.
